HealBot and I can not seem to get along. The fact that I as well cant really tell when the players health is going is annoying. I get the concept and the concept is nice. If you end up finding something that works better for you please post since we seem to have the same issues with it.

Great comment! Thanks for the tips. I'm definitely going to check out VuhDo. To be honest, i've never been a huge fan of HealBot. I love the idea but just haven't been able to get comfortable with HealBot's UI.

Oh, and I love Ark Inventory

I see this is an old post, but HealBot (for God knows what reason) is still popular a year later. VuhDo is like HealBot in steriods. It eliminates the need for decursive, although I know several priest who are not using VuhDo to its full potential thus still feel they need decursive. I have all of my spells bound to my mouse with variations such as alt, ctrl, shift, or combinations. My 5 most used spells are on the mouse with no additional key needed. There is even more personalization to be done to VuhDo than HealBot. I was surprised to find the other healers in my raid group were not familiar with VuhDo, but now they are all using it. Really excellent add on! I currently use X-Perl for my uI, Arkinventory for bags and such, Bartender + BTex + Buttoonfacade for my bards, recount, omen, Altaholic, DBM, ToomanyAddOns (this allows you to manage add ons without having to log out), VuhDo, Titan Panel (there is a VuhDo addon for titan as well), and Gatherer. Those are my main ones on my priest. Oh, and Mik's Scrolling Battle text is another fantastic one. It alerts me when my spells are off CD, which is great because it helps me keep PoM on CD. Love that addon!

Hey Tuner, thanks for your comment.

I also have an 80 resto druid and you're not kidding when you said that priest and druid healing are a lot different. I commend you druids for being good at what you do. I can't seem to master the art of monitoring my hots and still have trouble dealing with burst damage.

if you feel comfortable with Healbot then you probably won't even need to use Clique. To me, I'm use to looking at the health on the player portraits and haven't been able to gauge it as well in Healbot.

Definitely get Decursive though. It'll be a huge benefit for both your priest and your druid when it comes to having to dispel diseases, poison, magic quickly.

Good luck!

My main is a Horde Resto Druid. But I've leveled my Dwarf priest to 64 and dualed specced her to Disc/Shadow... so different from Druid Healing! I myself use Healbot, but now that you've mentioned those two, I will give 'em a try! Thank you for the blog!

Thanks for the kind words. Enjoy your journey to 80. Some of my favorite all-time Warcraft moments were doing the leveling dungeons like Uldaman, and Maraudon.

I'm a lowly level 42 priest but I'm always trying to devour knowledge so I can learn to heal better in instances (even though the stuff I'm doing now is way below you) and I love reading your blog! Thanks!
